Bournemouth - Bournemouth Velodrome : Image credit British Cycling Bournemouth - Bournemouth Velodrome : Image credit road.cc The Bournemouth Velodrome (Bournemouth Cycling Centre) is situated in Slades Farm Open Space, Ensbury Park. The Velodrome has a 250m, 37 degree asphalt track constructed by Tarmac Ltd. with a 6mm top surface of Ultitrack Velodrome, "a proprietary asphalt surface with specialist additives added to improve workability during the extremely slow laying and compaction process. The tarmac was laid on top of a concrete sub-base foundation.

The velodrome was opened officially on 25th June 2011 by ex-Olympic track cyclist Geoff Cooke. The track cost £800,000 which was funded by Bournemouth Borough Council and British Cycling, the complex was constructed by Raymond Brown Building. The track is run by Bournemouth Arrow Cycling Club who operate a Tuesday track night.

In 2019, Bournemouth Jubilee Wheelers promoted a track league. The track can be booked by clubs for cycle events. The complex also has a BMX track.
